Course catalogue

Would you like to take part in an innovative European learning experience?

Apply for the transnational online courses provided by CHARM-EU partner universities for students interested in expanding their academic portfolio and gaining international learning experience.

CHARM-EU universities  provide access to a certain set of their hybrid/online courses for the students at the partner universities to facilitate transnational online learning activities.

This way, students will get first-hand transnational experience without physical mobility. The credits of the online courses can be certified in line with the standard procedures of the home university.

If you are ready for an international university challenge and interested in becoming an international student, you are a perfect candidate. Scan the Transnational online catalogue and identify any courses offered by another university than your current one that fit your study programme or are of interest to you.

  • Take part in a global learning experience by studying with students from other countries, backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Gain experience and enhance your intercultural competences through international collaboration and connect with other students from around Europe.
  • Participate in online courses that offer the flexibility to attend from your own home or university.
  • Certify credits* and enhance your academic portfolio in exciting and innovative courses.
  • Get access to courses that are not available at your home institution.
  • Increase your future career opportunities by improving your skills and competencies in key areas of employment need.
  • Learn from acknowledged professors and lecturers from prestigious universities of the CHARM-EU Alliance.
  • Experience learning online at a CHARM-EU alliance university as a potential stepping stone to future physical mobility.

If you are ready for an international university challenge, and interested in becoming an international student, you are a perfect candidate to apply!

*The ECTS credits from all the courses can be certified. However, whether these credits are recognized depends on the receiving institution, been this your current university or a future one you would apply and the programme in which you would request the recognition. If you are planning to request recognition in your current university/programme, you can consult their credit recognition policy with the people responsible of your programme.

The majority of the courses in this call are accredited as a course in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral programme at the host university. For most of the courses, students can earn ECTS (see further details here). Also, the courses:

  • are delivered in English, German and French
  • are either fully online (all students are online) or hybrid (regular students attend classes in person, virtual exchange students attend classes online at the same time)
  • are delivered either synchronously or asynchronously
  • are in most cases interactive (students have an opportunity to interact with the course materials, the instructor, and the other students in the class, for example, during international group projects, Moodle forums or breakout rooms).
