As the ‘Global Challenges for Sustainability’ master’s has begun CHARM-EU is facing a world of new lessons, challenges, and achievements. In order to discuss these from a variety of perspectives, we have conducted interviews with some of CHARM-EU’s students, and representatives of other European University alliances.

European University Alliances

We had the pleasure to host Sabine Sainte-Rose, from the Aurora Alliance coordinated by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Simone Guccione, a former member of CHARM-EU now involved in the CIVIS Alliance coordinated by Aix-Marseille University.

A really insightful discussion about the goals of the Alliances, the role that European Universities have to play in building the future of higher education in Europe, the challenges faced when building a European University, and how to overcome these obstacles.

CHARM-EU Students

We were truly excited to hear the thoughts of our students about their CHARM-EU journey so far, which is why we sat down with two of our students studying at Eötvös Loránd University for a brand-new episode of the CHARM-EU podcast.

Throughout the interview our students share their personal journey that led them to the world of sustainability and CHARM-EU. Furthermore, they discuss their personal experience with CHARM-EU’s innovative teaching and learning approach, and they share the elements of the master’s they are looking forward to the most.
