The initiative is looking for beautiful, sustainable and inclusive projects that positively impact and improve people’s everyday lives.

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative opened its third prize-giving edition looking for exemplary initiatives linking sustainability, aesthetics and inclusiveness – the three complementary values of the NEB. The application is open to concepts, projects and initiatives implemented in EU Member States as well as in the Western Balkans.

The Prizes recognise and reward existing projects and young people’s concepts demonstrating that the sustainable solutions promoted by the European Green Deal can be inclusive and beautiful as well. They will be awarded in four thematic categories with three parallel competition strands in each.

Logos of the 4 thematic categories: Reconnecting with nature; Regaining a sense of belonging; Prioritising the places and people that need it the most; The need for long-term, life-cycle thinking in the industrial ecosystem

Winners can receive an award up to 30 000 EUR and will benefit from a communication package provided by the European Commission in order to support the promotion of their project.

The deadline of application is 31 January 2023 at 19:00 CET. You can apply and learn more about the eligibility criteria as well as the thematic categories here.
