On 14 February CHARM-EU launched the flexible phase of the Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability, including the students’ mobility between CHARM-EU campuses. The phase 2 will provide students with multiple options for learning within CHARM-EU related themes.

Last 14 February, CHARM-EU students started the second phase of the CHARM-EU Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability. As part of the programme, students and local academic and staff from the five partner universities participated in different activities, including introductory sessions on the local services and Peer feedback training & guidelines.

In Barcelona, the phase two started with a visit to the University of Barcelona’s historic building followed by a bike tour for students to discover the city. In Dublin, students had the opportunity to visit the iconic ‘Book of Kells’. Students finished the day with a visit to the Guinness Storehouse to experience the history, heart and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. In Utrecht, the introductory programme for the students started with a visit to the Hof van Cartesius (Cartesian Court), a circular workplace built for and by creative and sustainable Utrecht-based entrepreneurs. ELTE organized a guided visit on the campus in Budapest followed by a lunch at ELTE Lágymányosi "garden". After a very interesting visit through the University of Montpellier campus, CHARM-EU students in Montpellier visited the amazing premises of the Faculty of Medicine.

And this was only the first day! Stay tuned for further updates on our master’s programme, including the capstone phase.
