WP5 presentation at the 20th Hungarian National Conference on Education

ELTE colleagues of WP5 Mobility work package attended the 20th Hungarian National Conference on Education through joining the ‘Internationalisation of HE from Student, Teacher and Institutional Perspectives Symposium on 5th of November, 2020. As part of the presentation, WP5 members presented in detail the main conceptual background of the CHARM-EU mobility scheme, as well as the innovative aspects of the Mobility Matrix System from a teaching and learning perspective. Furthermore, the presentation focused on the proposed process of the mobilities’ curriculum integration, as well as briefly discussing the service system that is designed to support the implementation of the CHARM-EU mobility system.

According to the feedback of the symposium opponent, István Kovács Vilmos (Vice-Rector for International Relations at Budapest Metropolitan University), the model is intriguing and inspiring, especially in its complex approach to mobility. As the opponent highlighted, it is an excellent aim to integrate mobility into the curriculum, so that it supports a slight shift from understanding international mobility as a purely organisational or technical challenge to using it as a key component of the teaching and learning practice in higher education.

Mobilitási munkacsoport előadása a 20. Országos Neveléstudományi Konferencián

2020. november 5-7. között került megrendezésre a 20. Országos Neveléstudományi Konferencia, melyen a CHARM-EU Szövetség mobilitási munkacsoportjában (WP5) közreműködő ELTE munkatársak is részt vettek ‘A felsőoktatás nemzetköziesedése hallgatói, oktatói és intézményi perspektívából’ szimpóziumhoz csatlakozva. Az előadás során a munkacsoport tagjai részletes bemutatást tartottak a CHARM-EU mobilitási rendszerének főbb alapelveiről, illetve vázolták a Mobilitás Mátrix Rendszer innovatív tanulás-tanítási megközelítéseit. A prezentáció továbbá kiemelte a mobilitási tevékenységek tantervi integrálásának javasolt menetét, illetve röviden áttekintette a CHARM-EU mobilitási séma megvalósítását segítő szolgáltatási rendszert is. 

A szimpózium opponense, Kovács István Vilmos (a Budapesti Metropolitan Egyetem nemzetközi akadémiai ügyekért felelős rektorhelyettese) bírálatában elhangzottak szerint a CHARM-EU mobilitási modellje annak komplex megközelítésével igazán érdekes és inspiráló példaként szolgál. Továbbá kiemelte, hogy a mobilitás tantervbe történő beépítése kiváló cél, amely segíti azon szemlélet elterjedését, hogy a nemzetközi mobilitás nem csupán adminisztratív vagy technikai jellegű kihívás, hanem kulcseleme az eredményes felsőoktatási tanulás-tanítási folyamatoknak, azok megvalósításában kiemelten fontos szerepet tölt be.
