On the 8th of March 2023, CHARM-EU is organising its second TORCH Annual Forum titled “Sharing Common R&I Policies and Strategies: strengthening collaborations towards a transformational approach”.

The hybrid event – hosted by Trinity College Dublin – is open to stakeholders interested in research and innovation as well as university-industry-citizen collaboration. It is also relevant for policymakers, as the European Commission’s perspective will be included. Other University Alliances will be invited to participate.

The second open forum is organized around TORCH’s  findings in relation to shared R&I Common Policies and Strategies, barriers and financing. It deals with five main topics:

  1. Working towards reforming research assessment.
  2. Fostering equality, diversity and inclusivity.
  3. Championing Open Science.
  4. Promoting inter/transdisciplinary research driven by societal challenges.
  5. Fostering R&I Cooperation Between Universities.
