Students

If you are a student willing to get involved in a massive European initiative, to meet students from other universities and think the future of European higher education together, we have a little something for you.

CHARM-EU alliance formed by five European universities (University of Barcelona, Trinity College Dublin, University of Utrecht and Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest and University of Montpellier) is an initiative co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme which aims to become a model of good practice to increase the quality, international competitiveness and attractiveness of the European Higher Education landscape. This model will promote a flexible trans-European higher education learning experience aiming to educate students whatever their profile and background.

An in-depth change management process will be initiated to allow the idea of CHARM-EU as an international campus where students are members of this unique campus, move freely and where the staff of different universities collaborate to provide a unique service together (physically/virtually) thus contributing to building the European Education Area .

CHARM-EU wishes to co-create with students together with civic engagement a learning, creative, transnational, multi-cultural, multi-lingual, interdisciplinary, and societally driven integrated campus (both physically and digitally) where students can freely move, create their own curricula, and interact. This new model is driven by the student voice.  This way, our students will be empowered to become critical thinkers and committed European citizens capable of confronting and solving societal challenges linked with reconciling humanity with the planet and more generally the sustainable development goals.

CHARM-EU will:

  • Rethink and redesign the university of the future;
  • Develop new curricula to meet the challenges of sustainable development;
  • Establish mobility as a norm for European students and university staff;
  • Create a European campus between the five universities

The successful implementation of this initiative will require the contribution and input of students. We hope to see you soon as a part of the CHARM-EU community.
