Apply for the online courses offered by partner universities

If you would like to take part in a transnational learning experience at one of the CHARM-EU universites, follow the guide for application below and submit your learning agreement by 24 January 2024.

1. Take a look at our transnational online catalogue

The course catalogue contains the most important data about the courses:

  • University / Faculty or Department holding the course,
  • study level,
  • course title,
  • course code,
  • name of instructor,
  • description of the course,
  • mode of delivery,
  • learning outcomes,
  • course requirements,
  • state and end dates of the courses,
  • contact hours / week,
  • planned educational activities,
  • course literature,
  • assessment methods,
  • number of places available for CHARM students,
  • number of credit points.

2. Scan the catalogue and identify any courses that fit your study programme or are of interest to you.

3. Contact your study advisor (the person responsible for the programme you are currently doing at your university), and discuss with them whether the course is suitable for your programme.

4. If your study advisor agrees, fill in the Learning Agreement and ask your study advisor to sign it.

  • Download the Learning Agreement template here.
  • Both digital signature or scanned paper version of the Learning Agreement is acceptable.
  • If you are an Utrecht University student then your Study Advisor does not need to sign your Learning Agreement. This can also be signed by Mirne van der Cammen (see below).
  • Please note that this Learning Agreement does not yet give you a guarantee for credit transfer towards your own study programme. Credit recognition will be managed in line with the standard procedures of your university. For details, please turn to the contact person of your university.

5. To apply for one of the courses, please send your signed Learning Agreement via e-mail to the address given by the university where you currently study:

Åbo Akademi University
Eötvös Loránd University
University of Würzburg
University of Montpellier
Utrecht University

When do I get a reply?
