31st January to 2nd February, 2024

The forthcoming Grand Finale 2024 of the CHARM-EU Master's Global Challenges for Sustainability will happen from January 31st to February 2nd, skillfully blending a hybrid format for a wider reach. Hosted by the University of Barcelona, the agenda promises an engaging series of activities. A primary focus will be on evaluating the final presentations by the students of their Capstone projects. Beyond academic assessments, this event also serves as a platform to commemorate the conclusion of the second cohort of the CHARM-EU Master's program, marking the academic journey's successful completion.

CHARM-EU Life Sciences Network meeting

This networking event will bring together the nine CHARM-EU partner universities to foster a deeper sense of partnership and synergy. In pursuit of this objective, this event is designed to bring together members from faculties specializing in the field of Life Sciences. Through a blended format, this gathering seeks to facilitate meaningful interactions, enabling the participants to collectively define multiple cooperation strategies. Artificial Intelligence in Science - emerging policies and practical use cases

As artificial intelligence becomes more deeply embedded in science, it has the potential to transform research systems and drive scientific discovery. The benefits for research communities, and for society more broadly, are apparent. However, as the actual and potential use cases multiply, the debate around the ethical and social implications of AI in science becomes more urgent.

This webinar will explore recent trends and policy developments relating to the use of artificial intelligence in science, with a practical case study as well as expert input from the European Commission and the OECD.

Making education future-proof together - that is the focus of the SURF Education Days, the education & ICT event of the year. During the 25th edition, SURF wants to inspire participants to look ahead and outline the educational developments that will become relevant in the coming years.

The 2020 pandemic has accelerated technology adoption across the world, educators and education establishments across the region are actively purchasing technology solutions to enable remote learning, improve communication and accelerate learning. It is essential, right now, for educators to come together, to share and to innovate.

At EDUtech Europe, they recognise this, and so, in 2023 they will feature 5 atages of content and welcoming more than 5,000 educators and edtech providers from around the region.

Vanessa Viganò (CHARM-EU Educationalist from the Université from Montpellier) will participate in the panel "Reimagining learning spaces in higher education institutions" (12 October, 15:35).
