Cooperation in higher education is becoming increasingly relevant to enhance sustainable innovation, digital transformation, citizens' well-being, equitable and inclusive societies and economic development. The annual CHARM-EU conference will provide a platform to strengthen strategic partnerships between higher education institutions across the EU.
The programme of the CHARM-EU conference consists of three plenary sessions:

Innovation and trends in HE: setting the framework and looking forward.

European universities and current developments in HE: an introduction to the thematic sessions (Education, Institutional Innovation,Governance, Digitalisation and Student perspective)

Advancing education for sustainable development
In addition, there will be thematic break-out sessions on the following six themes: education; institutional innovation; governance; digitalisation; expanded network and student perspective
An online cultural event, organised by Utrecht University, is also part of the programme.
Due to the concerns about the coronavirus outbreak, the CHARM-EU conference will be held virtually, coordinated from Utrecht University.
