Dialogue with national / regional authorities

The objective of this work package is to create opportunities for open discussions between higher education institutions and the authorities responsible for higher education at the national/regional levels.

As a first step, an in-depth analysis will be carried out at national/ regional levels to identify the specific hurdles and associated legislation in each country. This group will also be in charge of the organisation of workshops between universities and national/regional authorities in each participating country to talk about the laws that currently prevent the creation of joint degrees and understand why these obstacles exist, and exchange ideas on comprehensive strategies to overcome these legal barriers.

Finally, later in the project, a European-level meeting will be organised where all partners will come together to discuss the current state of joint programmes in Europe and future possibilities. This meeting will contribute to a policy report with recommendations for the development and implementation of joint programmes in Europe.
