CHARM-EU takes part in the Erasmus Generation Participation and Engagement by ESN
During the event, participants talked about the European Universities Initiative and focus on CHARM-EU as a leader alliance and a role model.
Last Friday December 3rd, CHARM-EU was invited to the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) event called “EGPE”, short for Erasmus Generation Participation and Engagement. The aim of this event was to focus on the internationalization of the education in Europe, highlighting the key role of programmes such as the European Initiatives and the Erasmus+.
In the event, which was organized by ESN Barcelona volunteers with the support of the European Parliament, participated Antonio Luna, Vice Rector for Internationalization of the UPF, Markus González, Vice Rector for Internationalization of the UB and Eugenia Di Pólito, a UB student who works in CHARM-EU from the beginning.
In the first part of the event, the spotlight was put on how the European Universities Initiative was created, what are they and what are the objectives of the European Commission with this programme. After questions were answered, there was a small break for coffee and in the second part of the session, Eugenia Di Pólito presented CHARM-EU, how it works, what are its values and how challenging and rewarding it has been to create a Master’s Programme.
A very interesting debate took place among the three speakers, the moderator and a young audience who was very eagle to learn about the topic.
